Assignment 2 - St. Pius X
In this assignment you will work in a group of 2 - 3 to create a website and presentation about a department or activity at St. Pius X. Some of these assignments will be posted to the New Pius Website. Cameras are available for use!

Choose from one of the following:

The Chapel
The Learning Commons (aka The Library)
Student Council
A Department - Math, Science, French. Physical Education, Art, Music etc.
One of the Clubs or Activities listed on the Pius Website (you should be a member of this club)
Something else you think would be useful to have on the Pius Website (see me for approval)


Google Docs and Sharing

When you have choosen a topic one member of the group should create a google doc and share it (edit rights) with me (dianna.gravelle@ocsb.ca) and the members of your group. Choose the "Send Email" option so that I know you have shared your doc.

. Everyone can now work on the document at the same time and I can see what your are doing. Wait for approval on your topic (via the doc) and then start Brainstorming (on the doc)
Record ideas you have for the site, images you will need, who you need to contact and who will be responsible for what.


Talk to the teacher or coach in charge and ask them what they would like included.

Minimum Requirements:

A website with at least 4 pages (more may be needed):

1. General Information
2. People page (Staff and students involved or Team Roster)
3. Slideshow Presentation using original photos with text/captions.
4. Files, Photos, Links, Resources etc

All websites must be named using the format "Pius _________" and the category "Pius _ ******"
The Logo for all sites should be the Pius Crest.

Google Docs and Sharing

Create 1 presentation and 1 website and share it with the members of your group (give them edit rights) so that everyone can work on it at the same time. Do not share it with everyone or they will be able to change your work!

Remember: These websites will be used by the Public. Double check your spelling and grammar!!!!
