Create an animation using the interactive tutorial at http://goanimate.com/studio/tutorial

After you login click on Create and then under getting help choose "Tutorial" Work through the tutorial steps to create a simple animation of at least 10 scenes

Assignment 1 - Quick Apps

Using Quick Apps make 3 different short skits using one the templates provided. These skits should be under 5-6 scenes long and under 30 sec.

Assignment 2 - Create a Movie

This is an open ended assignment, create an animation of your choice. The animation must contain at least 20 Scenes and be 1:30 to 2:00 minutes in length. You must create one new character of your own. You will be evaluated on creativity and the use of goanimate features.

Tutorial 1 - Bouncing Ball

Complete the tutorial below. Add the following ..... bouncing of the top, a background, sound on bounce. For a level 4 modify this or add something else.

Assignment1 - Pong

Create a pong animation similar to the one shown at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bonw4qVUpoo. Your ball must bounce off each paddle at least 5 times. You should also have at least one instance when the paddle misses the ball. Include a scoring system or lives and sound. Declare a winner at the end. Add a background. For a level 4 modify this or add something else.

Assignment 2 - Bouncing Ball

Create a bouncing ball animation similar to the one at http://www.aniboom.com/animation-video/403728/Lesson-2/. You must have a background and the ball must bounce at least 6 times. Make sure it bounces realistically. Add sound. For a level 4 modify this or add something else.

Tutorial 2 - Simple Characters and Movement

Assignment 3 - Animation

Add a second character made only of rectangles to the animation. The second character should interact with the first in some way. Add a background and sound. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPjmDBBynJ8 for some ideas. For a level 4 modify this or add something else.

Assignment 3 - South Park Animation

Create a 30 second animation using the 2 characters from tutorial 3. Your animation must include title, credits, background, sound and captions. It must tell a story. For a level 4 create another south park character of your own and include it in the animation

Assignment 4 - Final Animation

Create a 1 - 2 min animation that tells a story.

Minimum Requirements

2 complex character of your own. (not circles and squares)
A background with moving elements(i.e. sun, clouds, etc)
2 Inanimate objects that are used by your character.
Audio and sound effects.
An animated company name and logo at the beginning.
Animated credits at the end.
